VETTORI BACK ON TOP

It’s not all about Australia at the moment, close neighbors and rivals New Zealand are making the news as well. Their captain Daniel Vettori has just managed to take back the No.1 spot in the ICC player ranking for ODIs. Not too long ago, Vettori lost his place to Srilankan pace man Nuwan Kulasekara who had a very good series against the Indian team. But the man has wasted no time in getting back to the top after he produced a brilliant display in the recent series against Pakistan who were beaten 2-1. Taking five wickets and putting in decent performances with the bat, Vettori has managed to soring past his country man Kyle Mills who has infact dropped four places in the rankings. New Zealand seems to heading in the right direction under Vettori and the series win at Pakistan is going to do wonders for the team on the whole. They will always be under the radar as far as the media are concerned but the intelligent cricket fans will know what they are all about.
