HOPE IT’S NOT MANCHESTER

The world’s most expensive player as well as former Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has told the media that he is not fancying playing his former team Manchester United in the knockout stages of the Champions League. With the final round of matches being held tomorrow and day after, the group winners and runners up will be decided and soon it will be time for the Champions League knockout stages draw. The knockout stages of the Champions League will begin in February allowing clubs to go into the market for reinforcing their squads. However Ronaldo has made it clear that he hopes he won’t have to face Manchester United in the knockout stage of the competition. He went on to say that he would feel very weird if he came up against the club and the manager that has taught him so much and made him the player he is. Well frankly I don’t know what ronaldo is talking about because as a neutral I would love to see the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United going head to head in the knockout stages of the Champions League. Fingers crossed hope it happens. But before all that they have a tricky tie at Marseille.
